The snow is finally melting. For quite a few days it was impossible to even get to the house or for others in the area to get out. Luckily it doesn't happen real often. Ron and I shoveled wet snow in part of the open area. That was a big job.
Ron and Eric Amerson have been working hard this week making up for lost days. Yesterday we saw the front wall of the house framed, laying on the living area floor, and ready to be stood up. We're excited for that wall to go up. The picture back towards the gallery shows a big beam across the top. That is an open area by the dining room looking back towards the gallery and bookshelves. It will all make more sense as time goes on.
Happy New Year from the Gelbrichs!
